Hasty foreigner speeds his way to a hefty fine

Today, at about 13h30, traffic officials apprehended the driver of a BMW on the N3 Road for travelling at 188 km/h in a 120 km/h zone. The speedster, a foreign national, was caught between Villiers and Heidelberg in Gauteng.

The vehicle is registered in the Gauteng Province.
He was taken to the Grootvlei Police Station where he had to pay a fine of R2 000.
