Missing Lisa Xala sought by Bellville FCS unit

Update July 28: Suspect has been traced and arrested

Western Cape: The Bellville Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit are seeking the assistance of the public to trace 21 year old Lisa Xala of Tokwana Street in Mfuleni. 

According to reports a fifteen month old baby was found abandoned at the Bellville Railway Station on Sunday, July 11, at about 16:00 by a security guard. The baby was taken to Bellville SAPS, where a case of Child Abandonment was registered for further investigation. The mentioned person of interest is believed to be in the Mfuleni area, whilst the investigating officer is also following up on information that she might be in hiding near to Langa. 

Anyone who can assist with information that will lead to locating 21 year old Lisa, is urged to call Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or alternatively call Detective Warrant Officer Jaftha on 082 522 1095.
