WESTERN CAPE: The efforts by members of Muizenberg police to disarm suspects and make communities safe led to the arrest of three suspects aged 24, 34 and 36 for the possession of prohibited firearms and ammunition in Hillview in the early hours of yesterday morning (October 18). The members were busy with crime prevention duties when they saw three suspicious males walking in the road. When they saw the police approaching they started to run. The members gave chase and arrested the suspects and recovered two 9mm pistols, a 357 magnum revolver and ammunition.

Once charged the suspects will make court appearances in Muizenberg Magistrate court on Wednesday, October 20, to face the charges against them.
