TWEEFONTEIN - SAPS advised the community recently that its local police station has been temporarily closed due to one of its members testing positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus on July 3.

The Community Service Centre will now be operated from the Freedom Church, stand number 100, Tweefontein E, next to the Miliva taxi rank and the R573 traffic circle.

The telephone lines at the Tweefontein Police Station’s Community Service Centre will not be in operation for the duration of the closure; however, service delivery will not be hampered.

To contact the station, community members may call the Community Service Centre at 082-922-9412, the visible policing commander, Capt Eric Mathavha, at 082-449-0295, the crime investigation service commander, Capt Vusi Mahlangu, at 082-318-9894, or the acting station commander, Capt Makwena Ephraim Mphela, at 082-449-0301.

The station building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally there from July 8.
