Manhunt launched for robbers

DELMAS - Members of the South African Police Service in Mpumalanga are looking for five suspects who robbed a shop in the Central Business District of Delmas yesterday, May 21.

According to the police report, the suspects, who pretended to be customers, pounced on the staff members, instructing them to lie down. They then went behind the counter and took two crates, containing an undisclosed amount of cash, before fleeing the scene.

Police request anyone who might have information about the incident or the suspects, to urgently contact Det WO Jacques Smook on 072 479 1408 or to phone the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 1011.
