Police launch manhunt for farm-attack suspects

MIDDELBURG - The Mpumalanga SAPS are urgently searching for three suspects who attacked an 83-year-old farmer and his daughter on the farm, Polfontein, near Middelburg yesterday, October 7.

According to information at police disposal, the victims had just arrived home from church when they were attacked by three men wearing balaclavas. One of the suspects reportedly slashed the elderly man with a panga on the head and arm. After forcing them into the house, the assailants robbed them of valuable items and fled the scene.
