Twenty learners died this afternoon on the R25 between Verena and Bronkhorstpruit in a horrific head-on collision which occurred between a truck and the minibus they were travelling in.

The MEC of Education, Panyaza Lesufi, were rushed to the scene.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.
