PRETORIA – On March 20, SARS Customs officials intercepted 1 809 kilogram of male sexual enhancement tablets worth R20.6 million at OR Tambo International Airport.

The shipment at the transit sheds contained 80 000 tablets and 126 000 oral jellies wrapped in brown sacks en route from Bombay India to Swaziland.

These tablets are restricted and controlled substances and require permits when being imported. The shipment has been handed over to the Medical Council of South Africa for further investigation.
