BARBERTON - The National Heritage Resources Act of 1999 clearly states that statue vandalism is a criminal act.
On Sunday evening wrongdoers vandalised the Garden of Remembrance in Barberton to such an extent that it will take hours of hard work to repair, not even mentioning the cost.
Africa InTouch News visited the Garden earlier this week where we met up with Col Deon Höll, Old Bill of the Barberton Lonetree Shellhole Memorable Order of Tin Hats (M.O.T.H.) as well as fellow MOTH’s Glen du Preez and Keith McPherson and Adj Maseko from Barberton SAPS. Du Preez is also a member of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
