Good news for residents of the City of Mbomela is that a request for bridging finance from the municipal banker, has been approved by its council.

The amount in arrears owed to Eskom will be paid today to ensure that Mbombela is not part of the municipalities that will experience power cuts.

Furthermore, the council committed to prioritize the Eskom account to ensure that Mbombela doesn’t find itself in a similar situation in future.
