PSASA announce Deputy President

In March 2016, the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA) appointed internet marketing consultant and professional speaker, Francois Muscat, as the Deputy President of the association. Muscat joined the four years ago with the goal of starting a professional speaking business and he is both excited and humbled to be nominated by his fellow members.

As a regular conference, business and keynote speaker, I joined PSASA four years ago to connect with like-minded people and embark on the journey of starting a professional speaking business. Over the past few years, I’ve been able to learn so much from the other motivational speakers, trainers and authors at the PSASA. It is with great honour that I have accepted the role of Deputy President and I hope to continue to support our members wherever possible,” says Muscat.

Both aspiring speakers and established business speakers benefit from PSASA membership. Business communication is an ever-expanding industry and there are many opportunities for both personal and professional development.

All types of speakers join the PSASA for various reasons. Executives who are looking to boost their prepared presentation skills, humourists who want to further their careers as comedians or conference speakers who travel the globe to present to industry experts all reap the rewards of belonging to an established organisation like this,” says Muscat.

Muscat, who regularly presents on topics such as digital marketing and social media marketing, says the valuable feedback from PSASA members and being to network with other business owners and speakers has proved to be extremely helpful in establishing his own professional speaking business.

As the new Deputy President of PSASA, my goal is to help PSASA members achieve their goals, whether it’s facilitating environments for people to boost their own skills or navigate through the process of starting their own businesses – I’m here to help,” concludes Muscat.
