HAZYVIEW - Communities serviced by the local police station were advised today that it will be temporarily closed due to one of its members having tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus yesterday.

The telephone lines at the station’s Community Service Centre will not be operational for the duration of the closure; however, service delivery will not be hampered.

The Community Service Centre will now be operated from the Lowveld Mall, next to Shoprite.

The public may call 079-648-2184 to contact the station for all emergencies and complaints to be attended to accordingly. The station commander, Lt Col Sabelo Mlangeni, may also be contacted at 082-556-5313.

The station building will be decontaminated and its services will resume normally from Friday July 10.

The Mpumalanga SAPS management apologised for any inconvenience.
